Event Time:

9:00 am EDT

Event Location:

Oakland University Human Health Building, 433 Meadow Brook Rd, Rochester, MI, 48309, USA

Event Description

Join us for this interactive course and develop your ability to transform simple core activation into functional strength with progressive, feedback-driven training.  Course Objectives  By the end of this course, participants will:
  1.  Be able to demonstrate the correct setup and application of tactile and pressure-based biofeedback tools with 90% accuracy in simulated lab practice.
  2. Apply at least three progressive hand placement and lever arm strategies to modify exercise difficulty during trunk stabilization activities.
  3. Identify and cue activation of at least four key core and trunk muscles involved in rotational and side-bending progressions.
  4. Design one therapeutic exercise progression that integrates biofeedback techniques to address both local stabilization and global functional movement.
  5. Implement two patient-centered coaching strategies that enhance motor learning and reduce compensations during core activation training.
